Reigning British SXS Champion Richard Avis took a sensational overall victory in the 2013 British SXS Championship opener at Wroxton, Oxfordshire. Organised by NORA MX and accredited to the ACU, a full line up of Polaris RZRs took to the grid as one of the UK’s most eagerly anticipated off road championships roared back to life for another season.

Polaris / Coastal / CST / National Guard / Yoshimura / Yokley Racing Team driver William Yokley finished 1st Overall and 1st in the XC1 Modified Class. Team driver Scott Kiger finished 4th Overall and 4th in the same class. There were 46 total entries including 22 XC1 Modified teams. William’s guest passenger was his wife Tina, and Scott’s passenger was Tyler King.
Richard Avis is the new ACU NORA MX British Side X Side champion – despite putting in one of his worst performances of the year at Wroxton on Sunday. A season of super consistency leading up to the final round ensured that none of the on-form teams were able to overhaul him.
James Chorlton demonstrated his credentials as he dominated at rounds seven and eight of the ACU NORA MX British SXS Championship with an incredible four wins and two second place finishes.
Following our successful practice day which was held at Bletchingdon in Oxfordshire, on behalf of ATV World, NORA MX and RZR Racing, we wish to extend our thanks to everyone who came and had a go at driving the Polaris RZR XP900.
WITH just two rounds to go Jack Rowe put the championship battle on a knife-edge thanks to a superb maximum points haul at Sunday’s sixth round at Pontrilas!
Fletcher Racing edged the overall win with a one point advantage over newcomer and former quadcross champion Justin Reid in round five of the RZRRACING.CO.UK Championship.
Just like Formula One this season, picking a winner in the 2012 British Side X Side championship is anybodies guess!
ROUND three of the ACU British Side X Side championship moved to Enstone in Oxfordshire on Sunday where rally driver Jack Rowe, who has now joined the series after enjoying his “one-off” drive at the previous round so much, showed he is a serious title contender with three race wins.
