Race Specification Youth Side X Side Now Available
For youth riders 12 and up, the youth RANGER RZR 170 has a four-stroke, air-cooled, 169cc engine with electric start and an automatic transmission. Styled similar to its adult counterpart, the side-by-side has a sporty, aggressive look and holds a driver and passenger for double the fun. Now ATV World have built a custom race specification RZR 170. Ready to take on the UK’s MX tracks it previewed first at the final round of the NORA MX Championships at Wroxton on the 25th September 2011.
Piloted by recently crowned 100cc geared ACU British Quadcross Champion Bailey Edwards, it was put through its paces and looked quick round the fast paced track.
Along with being an ultra-cool ride for kids, the youth RANGER RZR 170 includes all the safety features found on Polaris’ youth line up and more; a removable ignition key, electronic throttle safety control, daytime running lights, side nets, full cab frame, 3 point seat belts, colour coded foot controls, parking brake, hydraulic disc brakes, and speed controls to enable adults to set a maximum speed control limit.
With race organisers currently accessing the viability for a youth side x side class next year, it looks promising that more kids will get a piece of the side x side action very soon.
